Really off center and with a tilted overprint to boot.

Plus it sort of looks like the overprint is on top of the cancel... which would make this a forged overprint.

But why? That cancel is very similar to the type frequently found on the silver tax stamps rather than documentaries (most I've seen have 2 thin outer rings to the oval rather than a single wide ring)... unless both overprint and cancel were faked.

Overprint certainly is fake; cancel looks fake too. Wrong shade, too sharp and clear.

Yes, both overprint and cancel have been known to be faked. The cancel is different than the other fake cancel that has been recorded and seen by me.
