Tristan Da Cuhna Postage Stamps And Types Of Markings.

There are a great deal of different markings on the stamps mailed from Tristan.Covers with different Commonwealth stamps,different cancel types and the origin of the covers.Many stamps
were cancelled as souvenirs on pre addressed covers that never officialy went through the mail system.
The registers show the vast majority of ships,sailboats,war ships,submarines that called upon Tristan.
So the dates on covers can be verified most of the time as to their origin.
