Hi guys..
I have this pair of Newfoundland Scott 262 stamps...It has what I classify as a security punch on one stamp only..Now it gets more complicated...usually these security punches are only found on imperforated stamps...Below is the reply from BNAPS...The gentleman that replied is an expert on NFLD stamps and highly respected be me and others.

Hi Robert
I have only seen security punches on imperfs. Normally all stamps in the sheet would be punched.
My concern with your example is that the hole is very irregular. The only other examples of security punches that I have seen are quite regular circles in outline.
Perhaps this was used in revenue service. I am really not sure.
My stamp below

Below are a few imperforated stamps with security punches on them next to my irregular punch...To me there are lots of irregular security punches on stamps.

Now guys..I need your honest opinion...Security punch or not..If not, what have I got here..?
Thanks ahead of time...Robert
