My goal of completing a major varieties U.S. definitive set (less special printings, grill varieties and inverts) got one step closer today, as I acquired a pretty #317 pair. Unfortunately, the other missing stamps on this page catalog at 3/4 million dollars, so those holes may remain there for some time. In all seriousness though, I'm only about 15 stamps away from my goal with the prospect of filling maybe 4-5 voids in the next 30 days. Anybody building a collection knows the thrill of seeing light at the end of the tunnel, and this journey has been a lot of fun (at least, so far....).
PS - I'm not quite sure why my images are not posting from my iPhone. I will try the process again from my desktop computer in the AM.
