I inherited a large box of stamps and such most worldwide pre 40 and 50s. I'm having a hard time identifying some but what is this one? Any help would be great.

Looks like an official Mexican stamp, maybe found on www.stampworld.com
Go to 1884!

That is an ordinary issue Mexican postage stamp used from 1886 to 1894 (Scott 174-241). The ordinary postage stamps have a numeral of value in the center. The official stamps of the same period are superficially similar, but have a profile of Hidalgo in the center, and are inscribed "Correspondencia Official" in the lower half of the circle rather than having the value spelled out as in your illustration.

This is an interesting (and sometimes difficult) series of Mexican stamps.
