I bought a small collection from Bulgaria and found these three stamps. Can't find them in the catalogue but on pintrest they are listed as "extremely rare".
Can anyone tell me more about them ?

I think:

(a) 2 st slate-green and drab of 15/8/86
(b) 10 st carmine and green, of either 1927 (no wmk) or 1935 (wmk wavy lines)
(c) 50 st black and rose of 1/2/1928.

In which case, not extremely rare, sadly.

a good rule is to never trust 3rd person valuations on anything.

another good rule of thumb is that people with little understand ALWAYS assume they have the most valuable version of a stamp with little concern to perforation, watermarks, colorshades etc.

try using stampworld if your catalogue is lacking, it's not perfect or complete, but has a lot of pictures that may help.

Thanks, Rod - had to rely on an old SG as the album with my Bulgarian stamps is currently part of a Leaning Tower in the "study".

Geoff,
I have gone to the Steel Stationery Cupboards ($120 2nd hand)
Wood (chipboard) simply cannot handle the weight of Philatelic knowledge.

I do have a leaning tower, for general topic tomes.
