I see in the catalog that there are forgeries of these Ionian Island overprinted (N2, N2a, etc.) stamps. Does anyone have any info or links on how to detect the forgeries?
In the forged typographed overprint there are many small differences in the letters when compared to the genuine.The most obvious is the different shapes of the "O" & "o".The "M" is wider in the forgery,also the "I" in Itaca is thicker
