No worries on the misterm :) I assume you're just learning about precancels? It's a pretty neat set...too bad the perfs got destroyed somehow.

Mr. Precancel, I'm absolutely an amatuer when it comes to precancels! And I'm a little embarassed to say I don't know the specific purpose for precancels. However, I know that precancels are referenced when referring to various varieties etc. That is about the extent of my knowledge of precancels. I do like them and find them appealing in their various forms and look forward to learning more! Best always, Jonathan

The precancel you have is a fairly common one, as are the vast majority of the precancels.
