Only problem is, its a database put together by collectors so there is room for error and incompleteness, it lists over 500 000 stamps and from what I have seen there are a lot of entries with multiple catalogue listings, its not perfect but it may be a start

Aside from compiling a cross reference myself (which I'm NOT about to do anytime soon) the best cross-reference I've found is from dealers who sell stamps using both numbering systems. The only country I care about Michel#s is Germany, and I was able to download a complete German area price list from a long time dealer who listed by both Scott and Michel before he passed away. I own a complete Michel Deutschland Spezial, but my album is organized by Scott (which I'm very familiar with), so having a cross reference saves me time finding it in Michel, which I'm not as familar with and is written in German.

(20130207) Not allowed by the Staff.com has a catalog that is a descendant MI Sc and Yv cross reference. It is incomplete but growing everyday with user additions. It is worth checking out as a quick online and free cross reference.

as everyone has said, col-nect has quite a bit of cross-referencing in its listing, with more being added every day. They are pushing close to 670K listings in total in their stamps section.

I use Stamp Mate as my database program, which draws upon col-nect for its base data. I then add missing things myself and have been slowly adding to their database things missing. For my French Colonial-Post Colonial African countries I have done so far (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast and recently Benin-Dahomey) I have full databases that cross-reference numbers in Scott, Yvert, Maury (for the colonial era) and Michel.

It's a lot of data entry (though col-nect does a lot of the basic steps already) but it means if I am shopping online all I need to do is fire up my Stamp Mate inventory and reference catalog numbers depending on what site I am on to buy material, with little hassle and no book flipping.

I am taking a break from Francophone Africa and starting work on my Australia collection. I have Scott, Gibbons, Minkus and the Brusden-White Catalog Numbers being entered and collated. Need to get the new 7 Seas Catalog for Decimal-era Oz since Brusden-White's decimal-era catalogs were last published in 2001.
