This is an Italian stamp from 1901.
Was it issued in a version without perforation on top, or did the dealer sell me a Scissors trimmed stamp? It looks smaller than the fully perforated version.

It could be the stamp was never perforated at the top and was cut apart with scissors. But if you look at the bottom of your stamp and then at the bottom of the stamp above it that is showing, the perforations could have been above that small green line of the design yet and someone trimmed them off.

Thanks. The upper left edge suggests that it was trimmed.
