An example of why eye exams are important. As are magnifying glasses.

At first glance to me it also appears to be a W. After looking closely, the W becomes an E for me.

Okay, I'll schedule the eye exam tomorrow.

I can't get anything but a "W" even though I know this is not possible.

The top left serif of the T appears to make the right upward stroke of the W. Try separating that visually and the W will turn into ET. It may take some concentration.

OK, I may be getting there. If I concentrate on the top left serif of the "T" to the right being just part of the "T" and not any part of the "W" and I squint just right I think I can see how the rest of it could be an "E" that has been monkeyed with. Maybe.

Wow! I had to really <really> stare at that thing, suddenly the ET does appear. That is extraordinary.

Maybe this will help?

Red arrows: tiny breaks in the horizontal lines of the top and bottom of the "E."

Green arrow: blob of blue cancel ink.

Yeppers, time to see the eye doc.

Two glasses of whiskey later and going cross-eyed, still don't see it.

Getting older sucks, but it still beats the alternative...

If you cover the serif of the "T" then you are left with what looks like a backward "N"

The blobs at the top and bottom, are the serifs of the "E"

Cover the serif of the T with your finger on the screen, and stare at the backwards N....stare long enough and the E will magically appear.

That may help....

After a bit of concentrating, I got it to resolve into an ET, then I blinked my eyes and it became a W again. Wow.

No question its an E, but it is a pretty cool optical illusion to be sure.

He should market it as an illusion.
