A Beautiful Collection I Know Nothing About!

I had a very sweet lady come by to visit me today. She heard about my house burning (lost EVERYTHING) and she brought me a few books of stamps she felt I would take care of. I couldn't take them. I would have felt terrible. She then explained that she was about to lose her home and offered me the books for $100. I refused. I offered to do some research o. them for her to see what I could find out about them before we made any decisions. Any help would be great! Thank you in advance!

You have 'collectable' sets of covers that unfortunately were marketed and sold in great quantities. But they look great and offer great introduction into stamp collecting and history. I think you have a good start on collecting and hope it inspires you to join this great hobby.
