Hi,

I came into possession of two tobacco strips. I don't collect or know anything about them. Anything interesting here?

According to the Springer catalog these look like TG3 (top) and TG4. These were issued in 1868. Someone else will have to weigh in on value. The green strip is the better stamp.

Usually somewhere between 5x and 10x Springer depending on the stamp. Occasionally more.

Useful information. So roughly $140 for TG3 and $75 for TG4 (I'm just averaging the estimated range).

Thanks for the info! I was assuming these were just ebay fodder, I'm glad I asked.

Regards,
Keith

lol, if I could get what EJ asks I'd quit my day job. I'll probably list them tomorrow, I'll post the results for the curious.
