The seller found the issue date so they know its real worth is nothing. The puzzling thing is always why do what they do? It is silly, moronic, stupid, idiotic and needs a buyer with similar attributes. Wait a minute! |

I'm guessing that the second seller saw the first one and nervously raced to to put this beauty up for sale.
As was discussed in a previous thread, for U.S. stamps they don't get much rarer than this one. |

There is a easy way to explain this to the ebay seller ,this is how I do it . Dear TRAVIODO-5 .I see your selling a rare stamp on ebay . If you need more of the $110.00 rare stamp ,I want to help you out . I can sell you another 100 of those stamps for $3.00 and I will pay all shipping cost ,this will give you a profit of over 3,300 % on your purchase. Good luck on your business . |

Back in the day, around 25 years ago, there was a weird stamp investment fad with people advertising the Sierra Leone "Face on Mars" set for $10,000,usually in the Linn's classified pages. A writer for Linn's wrote a couple of these people offering a complete set for $100, which was the Scott value at the time. He got no takers. |
