I've Been Avidly Collecting Mostly US Stamps For Almost 3 Years.

I got into it after finding and organizimg my grandfathers's stamps. I make my own album pages. I keep adding and altering pages to include minor varieties, errors, etc. I am mostly focussed on my main US collection, but I also collect US Possessions, starting to get into postal stationary and I have some stamps and an idea for a pre-WWI aviation topical collection. I am an advocate of certifications and grading of high-value stamps (unpopular here, I know). I typically collect one stamp at a time, purposefully adding to my collection. Even though I've only been collecting for a few years, I am a serious student.

Howdy! Yes grading especially slabbing is a controversial subject.

I don't think slabbing is especially popular, and I don't collect slabbed stamps.
