Vance Auctions - Good Customer Service

Just wanted to share my recent positive experience with Vance auctions out of Canada.

I was disappointed in a recent Canada collection purchase from them through SAN as it did not contain a couple of the years/album pages it strongly implied it did, going by the lot description. (I understand why that was missed, given the missing years were in the middle of the collection, so easy to assume they were there without closely checking.)

Happy to say that the auction house responded very professionally to my complaint and made an offer to return it for a full refund. This I couldn't do as I'd already moved out stamps out into my regular albums and thus couldn't guarantee I would be returning to them it "as bought". Plus, I wanted the stamps it did have :). So instead, they extended a reasonable credit % on the purchase.

Good, prompt service and reasonable resolution. With a wealth of auction houses out there, handling the situation like this makes me likely to bid with them again.

It has been many years since I bought anything through any auctions but I was always happy with Vance Auctions.
