Many of the early Venezuela airmails were code perforated to identify use as officials. Scott so notes this fact, but doesn't give any hint as to the added or reduced value to such stamps compared to ordinary postally used copies. Was wondering if anyone knows more about this issue. Thanks

I assume you are referring to the GN perfins? If so, the Blanco Venezuela catalog (1991 - 1992) devotes a section to them. Based on 1992 value of 130b/$1, the value ranges from about 7˘ to $5.00.
