I have a perforated George Washington 2c stamp - used. I'm trying to figure out the identity of the stamp. Any ideas? I couldn't get a very clear picture with my phone camera.

Well it isn't a 482A, which looks like this, https://siegelauctions.com/lots.php...3&page_no=24 .
If you want to know what stamp it is measure the perfs, check for watermark and determine the type (see http://www.stampsmarter.com/feature...rank_ID.html ).

And lastly why would you think of all the 2c reds, in all the stamp albums, in all the world the rarest would walk into yours. Play it Sam

Stamp is offset, possibly a type V Scott 527 or a type Va Scott 528. Neither has much value used. A 600 DPI scan would enable identification.
