You're keeping us partially in the dark. Does it have gum? Does it have a watermark?

This stamp could be anyone of 9 stamps depending on watermark and type of which there are 7. The types are based on very small differences, strength of toga line, number of lines in the toga button, shading on the face, number of dots on the nose. These can be sometimes difficult to tell with the stamp in hand and I cannot type yours from the scan. Value ranges from $1 for Scott 409 (single line watermark, type I) to over $4000 for mint no hinge Scott 534B (unwatermarked type VII). |

This is an engraved stamp, not an offset. So it can only be a couple of stamps based on watermark. |

To put it simply, what would make this stamp valuable? Having no watermark? |

No watermark would be a necessary condition, but not sufficient. It also would need to be a type VII which is an offset stamp. Revcollector says this stamp is engraved and not offset. I am not experienced enough to tell that from the scan. |

This is a type I flat plate stamp, either a 409 or a 482. Both are very common. |

I have confirmed that it has no watermark, so what will that be worth? Thanks |

Impossible for this to be a proof. Wrong paper, wrong impression, some offset on the back, it has gum. |
