Ckirby1... for your stamp to be a 595, you must first confirm a vertical
perforation measurement of 11.

Second... the frame measurement must be 19.75 x 22.25

If both of the above conditions apply to your stamp, then you have a 595

Current Scott (retail) value is $375

The market is very soft on used copies... expect 10% (or less) of Scott

Ckirby, here is a perf 11 #554 next to a perf 11 #595.
You can see that the 595 is wider...looks stretched out right to left, which is what happens with the rotary press-printed stamps:

Hope this helps, Ray

ray.mac is offering some valid info to help you along the way with your
ID'ing your stamp, however, we still need to hear from you in regards
to the critical measurements which must be met to qualify as a 595.

Now... I'm looking at the color of your stamp... and, although colors
cannot be reliably ascertained on a computer screen, I'd say that (if)
notice the word *if* your stamp is 10.5 vertically versus 11, based
upon the lake-ish color I am seeing on my screen, versus the carmine
examples displayed by ray.mac, I'd say you have a good possibility of
having a 634b, which is much more valuable than a 595, AND if it is also
accompanied by a cert, if you should decide to sell it in the future,
you would realize quite a bit higher resale than a 595...

Thank you for your responses. I finally figured out how to navigate back to past post....I also dont know how to measure perforations. They could be 10.5 I took pictures.
