Trans Mississippi Stamps Article In Newspaper

It's not often a newspaper runs an intelligently written article about our hobby. Today's Omaha World Herald had a feature article in their Living section with a full color picture of a stunning cover of these stamps:

I was getting that but although I'm a print subscriber and am supposed to be able to access articles on their site half the time I cannot. I thought I'd throw it out there hoping it was something with me. Apparently not. Papers and other media have the right to do this, it's their media. It is a bit shortsighted.

Anyway a great article with a full color pic of a stunning cover and all this on page 1 of the living section.

Disappointed that I could not view the sight. There is a pretty stunning cover in the Gross sale lot 100.

I saw the entire article via that link.

They're misinterpreting GDPR - I can read numerous other US newspapers online without any problems.
Guess I'll have to wait to read it when I'm at SESCAL next month...

I was able to read with no problems. Good article. Sounds like alot of money will exchange hands. I would love to be able to add some of the higher value stamps into my collectio.

I could not access it yesterday, but there seems to be no problem today. Great cover!

I complained to the paper. That may have done it.

Able to access the site today. It shows the same cover I alluded to in my previous post. But the article was good.

Omaha will host the APS convention next August. This may be the first of some effort to feature our hobby a bit more in covering local events.
