I never noticed this before and was wondering if anyone else encountered this?

I bought some beer stamps from one of the cartel sellers (I know, but I HAD to have them.) I do try not to support them.

Anyway, here's the listing when I bid:

And here's the listing in my sold items:

Notice the seller's ID.

If you view a seller's profile there is a link at right to "View ID history".

Nothing unusual here. If you look at the seller's ID history, they changed it from xfstamps to numis_phil* on September 21.

Sellers are allowed to change their IDs. I don't recall whether there is a limit as to how frequently.

Philip Ryle (the cartel) pled guilty to defrauding the UK government of 800,000 pounds last week and is going to prison.

See page three of this thread:

It is inexplicable why anyone would knowingly deal with this person. Huh!

Cartel issues notwithstanding, an ebay seller changing their userID is not in and of itself a reason for concern.

There have been a few previous threads which stated that xfstamps was a cartel seller.

I was simply basing my opinion off these members' statements.
