It's a revenue stamp, not postage stamp. Issued during Germany's hyper-inflation period, probably 1923.

I don't know. You'd need a catalogue and I don't know if they even exist for revenue stamps. Maybe someone here can help.

A word of advice though - don't get your hopes up. The vast majority of stamps are worth next to nothing.

There's one like yours in this lot - and note that you can but the entire sheet for $15. That's an average of about 50 cents per stamp.
