DREW ---A few thoughts to your posting . First that set of 4 volumes of the Scott Internationals is a mess . There are two broken metal post in that set . Second about 2 dozen pages are pulled away from the metal post so they need to be fixed with gummy rings to keep the pages attached . Third I paid a lot of money for my solid wooden shelves ,I don't want the metal inside those binders damaging the finish on my bookcases . Also we have wooden tables and my wooden desk in our house and those metal inside those binders messing with the finish .
Scott "stuffed" those binders with the new blank pages and once you start filling the pages with stamps those binders can't handle the thickness .
I keep a set of INTERNATIONAL pages repuched to note book binders and those plastic binders don't damage the furniture and since they are three ring binders the pages are more secure . I place less than 1/2 of a Scott International pages per binder making it easier to add pages and it lays flat on a desk .
I also want you to understand a lot of the page sequence doesn't flow smooth ,so it takes a second set of pages to correct a lot of the garbage that Scott refuses to correct in their International Albums .They could sell a set of revised pages for the 30 or 40 pages that don't flow right .
DREW ---A few more thoughts , your looking for a set of Scott International with out the cheap common stamps ---DREAM ON .
I wish GOD would bless me with such a request .... looked at 300 or 400 different sets of Scott Internationals at auction firms from Boston to California and the rule is the common stuff is in every one of those .Sure there were many that had better stuff and you have to balance the price with all the common stuff included . Have gotten to the point that I no longer look at Scott albums because 95% is stuff that duplicates and don't need.
