I am not sure if the first stamp (10c) in the photo is authentic.
Has too much white around the lion.
Any ideas?
I also have a hard time to figure out what edition are these....1879 or 1881

These are the 1881 issues. They are genuine. Often the printing is off center in these stamps. The first issue 1879 is in cents & franc for the highest value...

So obvious....I looked so much at the graphic details that I've missed the major difference. I need to take a break, put some eye drops.

This is referred to as "Catalogue blindness" any collector whom has picked up a pair of tweezers, has experienced it. Join the club. :)

I have never heard it referred to as that but "catalogue blindness" is a perfect description!
