Unusual item ,but not rare or a premium value . Wet printing is the cause of this . |

If the paper is thin as a stamp, it treats itself of same cut away. If the paper is thicker, it is a question of cut of postal point.  |

To elaborate on what floortrader said, this would be of interest to a collector who specializes in the Brustschild series, or in German postal stationery. |

It is not a stamp, is not continuity of the red box and this stamp was not issued imperf.
It has to be a cut. |

I would probably give it a try on ebay. I would not expect to sell it for more than a few dollars US. |

Both versions of the 1 Groschen were issued imperf. This however appears to be from a piece of postal stationary. |

These look like 2 different stamps.I do not see the small tear an fold in the left pic.The photo has been cropped.  |

Looking at the margins and cancellation, I believe it is the same item with different lighting and/ or editing. |
