Could someone kindly translate this to English please? I'm assuming it's German/Austrian?

Gemischte Lose / Sammlungen: Albums, Lagerbücher, Partien in Schachteln usw.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Google will translate for you. It's not perfect but will certainly give you the essence of what it means. Here's Google's translation of the above:

==================

Please note the quality: Collections and mixed lots (for example: albums, stock books, carton packs), unless otherwise stated, contain trade marks different quality. The following notes will show you the quality of a lot

Single lots: Individual stamps, letters or all individual items: The quality is described if there are no pictures for the buyer for the assessment of the quality.

Mixed lots / collections: albums, stock books, packs of boxes, etc. It is impossible for us to scrutinize every mark of a collection, if not original as used, unused with fold, mint never hinged (UMM / MNH) and so on described.

If a collection is described as "different quality", it includes good quality brands and slightly flawed brands are of good quality (80% - 100%)

If a collection is described as "mixed quality", there is usually a larger proportion of gap fillers with different errors (perforation errors, thin spots, wrinkles) or marks attached to album pages, etc. In this case, the brand quality can be 0% - 80%.

If you are only interested in one or two brands of a collection, please contact us before bidding to clarify the quality

Google translation is very useful and helpful, but translation software gets fooled by words that have many, or more than one meaning.

For example, the software reads "Marken" as brands, because that is the most common use of the work. If you substitute the real meaning of "Marken" in the descriptions above, it is stamps...a more specialized, less common meaning of the word.

I have had good success with the DeepL translator, especially with German and Spanish.

https://www.deepl.com/en/translator

For many detailed translations, I have found it better than Google Translate, but the number of languages it will handle is not as extensive.

Hi mml1942

Thanks for the link. Agreed that it is a little better than Google for Spanish.

In Ringo's translation, Marken = stamps, not "brands."

Another strategy I use with Google Translate, especially with German, is to break down some the very long words that language produces which do not translate well and enter the pieces separately, sometimes that helps.
Have any of you had luck using G.T. for languages that are not quite so easily typed with our keyboard alphabet?, say Hungarian?

Thanks mml1942 for the Deepl site, will give that a try.
