...which appears to be some sort of Railroad Revenue (which would explain my not being able to find it in Scott). Any one able to provide an ID?

It is a Saxony Railway revenue stamp and because it is, it will not be listed in Scott's because it is beyond the intended scope of their catalogue.

In Erler-Norton vol. 17 (German Freight Stamps) this is Saxony State Railway #35 (1919 year of issue) with a value of .30 US mint, and 1.50 used.

My catalog is 1999, and Erler-Norton prices are consistently on the low side.
