Hi,

I inherited 10-15 stamp albums mainly of German stamps 1872+, plus also ones from Hungary and Austria. I will just wondering are they any good. I have no idea. Also I have no idea what to do with them, So still deciding whether to keep or sell. Below is a small example. And help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Rich

Well, stamps that are shown vary from very common to not so very common, but nothing of any significant value. Judging by the selection presented, there could be more interesting stamps in the collection. An entire collection as 1 lot probably worth about $100 - $200. This is what you'll probably get on ebay or from a stamp dealer. You can make more if you start breaking them into sets, but then you will need to know their catalog numbers Scott or Michel. Catalogs are not cheap. If you keep them just for the sake of keeping them, their value will not go up, but quality may deterioration if stored poorly. Or you can become a world wide stamp collector, and spend most of your free time with enjoyment and enlightenment for the rest of your life. You decide.

Thanks for the information. Not too sure what I'll do with them yet. I just picked some random pages as an example. So I have no idea if i've shown the good or bad stamps. I can add more pictures if that helps. Are there any good tips as to what I should be looking for?

THanks again
