Rather expensive for what appear to be reprints.

It's likely that anyone buying these or similar issues from this period will require good quality scans to enabke them to consider the stamps in detail.

Looked at your listings. You should not be selling stamps. Reprints or low $ stamps not identified and terribly overpriced. Not scarce nor are they rare.

Continue to post good quality scans of your ebay listed and other stamps here and learn first.

Hi , Thanks so much for your replies . They are original, I have run them through all the identifications of reprints and they did not match, they are just it spectacular condition. Thanks, both of you, for your selling advice. I am rater new at selling as until now I just collected for myself.

The old used golf balls look like a much better deal than the stamps?!!?

You didn't run very far. Try the "extra dot on Mao's button" indication of a reprint.

Thanks for answering my questions and as for mdroth please excuse my newbie collecting skills. I am new at it and haven't really dove into the Chinese Stamps market.

@mdroth , I only collect old golf balls, around the 30's. Maybe if they have a nice mesh on them.

Folks here support new hobbyists, but when you list stamps that are misidentified and with crazy prices, they lose patience. I recommend removing your stamp listings until you can correctly ID and price your stamps.

Also note that you broke two forum rules in your first three posts. We are trying to be patient but please follow the rules.

Hi , Thanks 51studebaker. As I explained earlier, I just wanted a bit help because there was so much information out there. Now I have identified them thanks to all of your help. I was just a little bit too hasty to list them for sale earlier without further identification.

Understood, many people here have decades of experience and invested significant amounts of money in learning about their stamps and covers. It can be daunting to start a new hobby with the scope of philately, you may want to focus on one area/country until you have learned the basic identification skills.

May I make a 'polite' statement?

In philately, I strongly believe that the word "RARE" is used all too often and loosely.

Most stamps are NOT rare and usually are worth only pennies to a few dollars. Naturally, there are exceptions.

My opinion of course.

Thanks 51studebaker for your advice. Bujutsu, you are right, Rare is used too often , I have learned lots insight into the stamp world from this forum. As for GeoffHa, redwoodrandy and mdroth , please excuse my sudden jump into stating I would like to sell them. I am a beginner at collecting and have learned a great deal from this forum now on how to truly understand the difference between an original from a reprint . Of course you must understand coming into this forum I might have jumped to conclusions a little drastically. I didn't mean to pursuit the fact of selling as much as requesting verification to if indeed it was what I thought it was. Thank you very much for spending time to reply to this topic I created.
