Hi, I have these PRC Chinese stamps for quite some time and was interested in selling them. Here is what I know so far, I checked them out and it appears to me that all are original. Not reprints. Also that by those standard the 30000 denominations and 20000 denominations might be the rarest in the group. Let me know !

Your stamps are reprints. Aren't these the same stamps that you listed in a seperate thread as well as on ebay?

Just curious as to what research you did prior to listing them as being genuine with the accompanying high catalog value?

Hi , Sorry about any confusion. No they are not on any thread on ebay. I am a new collector and especially in Foreign stamps. I just did not know about replicas in the field. I heard something about reprints but never in much detail so that's why I mentioned that I believe they might in fact be genuine. I have understood now all about the dot on Tao's collar or "lines-dots" on the flag and the vibrancy of color . Thank you Rob Roy and perf12 for your help !

They are reprints but were officially issued by the post office a few years after the original issues. They were issued for collectors and the postal use is scarce.
