Hello
I bought a bunch of stamps and failed to identify these.
I couldn't relate them to empire China, P.R. China, or any of the provinces.
The red overprint in the blue stamp was unreadable for me even when magnified.
*edit: The brown is from empire China 1946. Two are left unidentified.

Another question:
There are stamps from NorthEast China the province, and NorthEast China the region. What's the difference between them?

Stamp #2 Scott 690; Stamp #3 Scott 718; don't know stamp #1
If you don't have a Scott Catalog they are China Empire stamps 820 & 834 on the stampworld.com website

Northeast Provinces issued after WWII were stamps of the central government
Northeast China were regionals issued by the communists

Thank you, Vayolene.
Is the first one from main China or one of its provinces?
And what do you think of the price, is it realistic or overpriced?
I'm not going to sell mine - just curious.

As for the blue one - maybe it's japanese occupation?

Thank you Willwood.
I do have Scott on a pdf file, but haven't mastered yet how to search it efficiently (or search it at all).

To summarize it, the first stamp is a revenue from P.R. China, the other two are imperial China postal stamps.

Agree with what's said on them. To add, the second one, Scott #690, was issued in 1946-47. The third one looks like Scott# 718, issued between 1946-48.

I am not aufait with your *.pdf catalogue.
Within my own database, I simply use the value of the stamp, to bring up options.

Try searching with the text string "$20 on" (without quotes)
(on indicates a surcharge)

PS I recall I found this one tricky when I was cataloguing.
