Thank you Mike. He sent back popee seeds and well a vary private letter to his wife. Im currently doing research on vinty shifts of Scott 295 but will put his letters together for a small show here.
The date on that paper is 2 weeks before Operation Market Garden in WWII, where the Allies, led by the Brits made an attempt to push the Germans out of the Netherlands.
