I was looking for a free stamp collecting software and could not find anything worth while, so I downloaded this free 30 day trial and it works very nice.
Also you can add any country that you want, color of stamp or any of the other organizing classes.

Are you still using it? Do you think you will buy it for $29.95?

I don't think I will buy it, but I would recommend it for anyone looking for cataloging software!

I'm a bit of an Excel guy, so I build a spreadsheet for each of my German categories and input the data myself. I can search and sort, print out want lists, etc. I could even scan and enter pics of each item if it wasn't so much trouble.

Not really, I multitask a lot. Setting up took less than an hour. I entered the data while watching TV an hour or two here and there. I also used my time while riding back and forth to Baton Rouge several times. Those trips are 7 hours each.

If the software can't actually take inventory for you, what's the point? Because if you don't have a lot of extra time on your hands it 'aint gonna get done.'

Now you're talking about a secretary Modern! That would be nice but I don't think it will happen.

I, too, am using Excel. I have a column for Scott and a column for the equivalent Gibbons numbers. Yes, it took time to set up. But, it is really good for zeroing in on varieties. At some point I may port to a database, but I love Excel for basic data entry.

I use MS Excel too. Although its not fancy, it works fine for my small collection and saves my money. I also take out printouts for offline work since I'm more pen and paper guy.
