Hi Rod,

It always amazes me how a single stamp or postmark can lead us deep into history.

This postmark appears to mark the 3rd Maccabi Czechoslovak gathering in Zilina in July 1937.

The Maccabi club seems to have been a Jewish youth sports association with gatherings rather like the Sokol "slets".

If you Google for images with "autopošta" you get a good range of pictures including buses, customers, covers etc.
