The Hot Wheels issue is the only one I've noticed with taggant completely covering the selvage between stamps. It looks as if the incremental vertical shift between the individual stamps presented a challenge to the tagging layout. Are there other issues with similar?

The John Lennon pane and the Statue Of Freedom stamps also have the selvage between the stamps tagged. Many modern panes are tagged typically with with a large rectangular block. The Hot Wheels is just a variation of this were the "block" is not rectangular. The Louise Nevelson issue #3379-83 is another issue where a large non-rectangular block tag was used. It is triangular on one side. If you haven't checked out the Tagging DB that is a good place to explore. It is current through the Hot Wheel issue. I will be adding newer issues as Scott numbers are assigned.

Thanks. I should have noticed the Lennon tagging as I had it plus the Hot Wheels next to each other for close examination.
