What the dickens is this guy hiding? Just one pic of the binder, he doesn't show the stamps or pages. I'd bet there is something- maybe a lot of miscut black mounts, short sets, who knows. I sent him a message suggesting he show people what he is selling.

Either he is clueless or very savvy.

"The scans shows part of the collection."

I can't see any part of the collection besides the album. If I were interested, I would bid purely on the binder (including the shipping) and not consider stamps at all...unless he sends you some pics.

They do look like very nice binders ... great shape. If I collected those areas, I might just bid regardless of the contents. (I did the same for some GB albums and hit gold!)

If the pages only go to 2000, it is missing half the pages as the album should go to 2015

$40 BIN. 40% complete? I'd bet there is not one full set in there, and the pages are scribbled up. Lots and lots of cruddy self cut mounts too.

If you're listing something with this many things that need clarification why would you just show the binder? The answer is evident. Let's see what he replies.

It's always wise to bid only on what you can see. In other words, bid on this as a binder and a slipcase. The stamps will be a bonus, and maybe the pages and mounts will be another bonus. If not, throw away the pages and start over. Don't bid as if the pages, mounts, etc. are in great shape since they may not be. It's an odd listing, but presumably he just wants to sell if quickly and not be bothered. Maybe he has a lot of other items for sale that are more expensive? Who knows? You can always not bid.
