Hi folks

I have been trying to learn a little more about the hobby and was hoping someone could verify what I think? I am struggling to 100% identify stamps so hopefully this will give me a little boost.

I can't verify the watermark as I can never find them on US stamps so I don't trust myself in that respect. Any thoughts on the 461/499 then?

If 461 and 499 are Scott numbers then your stamp is neither number. The Schermack perforations indicate that this was originally a Scott 409 or Scott 482. Both stamps were used for the affixing machine perforations on your stamp.
