I hope you looked at the material. I was there last Friday and the descriptions of some collections were "on International Pages" and they were actually Vintage pages which makes a big difference to me. The 1st collection under "Stamp Collectons" #526 is 5 volumes of Vintage pages not nearly a complete WW collection. It's very nice but I would have been unhappy. Buying at auction without looking is just gambling. (IMO)
Agree completely on looking. Once I start looking at collections in the estimate range of lot 526 I do not bid if I cannot look. I do gamble on lesser lots though. Luckily Kelleher is a 1-1/2 hour drive for me so viewing is doable. I must say that Kellehers pics leave a whole lot to be desired. Some of the collections get 10, 20, 40 photos and others get one photo of albums sitting on a table. Lots 134-136 do not really say much and one pic each. On the other hand there are some European lots that have lots of pics. It would seem to me that if they wanted strong competition they would show the goods. Not doing so might lead one to wonder why the brevity.
How long do the say they have been doing this? 134 years right..come on guys give them time..I agree I want to see the inside of the album not the binding..
