Does Anybody Recognize Where This Die Was Used?...

based on the seated figure I assume it was used on a tax paid of some sort. Looking for a match as I have purchased a bunch of proof material. I'll post some more here soon.

The first one is a puzzler, though. I've never seen it before. I wonder if the engraving was done on spec by National Bank Note Co. in anticipation of getting a contract to print some of these large taxpaid revenues.

ADDENDUM: Southpaw, do any of those proofs have blue serial numbers on the back? That would indicate they were working proofs, rather than final products sold to the public.
