Hi guys
Here are a few more PERFIN oddities to keep your eyes open for, if you are interested in this line of collecting.

FIRST...The first two stamps (Scott 0233) have normal PERFINS...The third stamp has an excess of additional perf holes as the picture shows.

SECOND...This block (Scott 0241) has what appears to e missing pin holes and pin holes that are clearly not perforated completely through the stamps...This could be easily be explained if 2 sheets were trying to be punched at the same time.

THIRD...This (Scott 249) has double PERFIN holes..This could be caused when a sheet may have stuck or sent through a second time.

FORTH...This block (Scott 250) has the left stamps with overlapping perfs, while the right stamps are normal...This could be caused by a perf while set you with next pins in an overlap mode.

FIFTH...This strip (Scott 0270) has the first 4 stamps with broken perf wheels, while the last 2 are normal..Guess the printer does not check these perf wheels that often.

THERE ARE LOTS MORE I HAVE LIKE TRIPLE PERFS.

Robert

WERT,
do you have a few OA208 (5 holes), and if so, are there similar position/orientation like the 4 hole perfs?

Sorry Gilles le timbre
Dont have that much 5 holes..Only thousands of 4 holes..sorry.

Here are a couple more PERFIN oddities...

FIRST: Double perfin (Scott 0270) on this stamp..I figure the only way this could happen is if the sheet was sent through the perf machine a second time.

SECOND: This stamp (Scott 0231) has slight perfin shutter

THIRD: This stamp (Scott 0257) is the same perfin shutter as above, but more extreme.
