And to think I joined here to discuss dissolving an existing collection. Sheesh.

The APS Circuit books may be just what you're looking for.
Collector-provided stamps on approval in various categories.

A buddy of mine gets approvals through Mystic Stamp Company. Not sure exactly what he had to do to sign up, but he seems happy with the stamps he gets through them.

Do you want the stamps physically mailed to you for review and do you want specific stamps or just general to select?

There are online places like Stamporama and hipstamps where you can often see the pic of the stamp and not pay the traditional dealer markups.

I have for a number of years dealt with Nicklas Holt, 7709 Pedigo Rd, Knoxville. TN. 37938. Sends stamps on approval. Fair prices, nice stock.

I also get approvals from Mystic and Kenmore. Mystic has great stamps, great service, and very high prices. Kenmore is a bit more reasonable, but seems to have a limited inventory..

I vote for APS circuits as the first option. I grew up using Kenmore Stamps Company and Littleton Stamp Company. Have occasionally used Mystic and Mystic albums.

I sell stamps on Stamporama, which is an interesting place to visit. They have both approvals and auction format. I find the approvals very reasonably priced but you will probably not find any top lines stamps there. The Stamporama auctions tend to be a bit pricey in my opinion.

BF, maybe you already thought of it, but you can sell off parts of what you have to finance whatever area you are most interested in.

When checking out sellers online, take a little time to go through their stores or list of items for sale. And for ebay, I much prefer sellers that show backs as well as fronts even in small lots.
