Anyone on this forum collect revenue tax stamps from the Stamp Act? How rare are these items and if one were in the market for one, where would be the most promising place to look?

Most range from pretty scarce to very rare. There are a couple of truly great collections, at least one that gets exhibited occasionally. Richard Friedberg and Eric Jackson would be the people to ask.

The only times that I have seen these exhibited in their full entirety were at the two international exhibitions, Washington 3006 and New York 2016. I wrote about them for The American Stamp Dealer and Collector, whole number 100. No, I do not own a single example.

funcitypapa, you asked basically the same question in 2015 and there was extensive discussion with the conclusion that a handful of examples exist.

The most promising places to look are the Smithsonian Institution, or the highest-end auction houses like Sotheby's, Christie's or Siegel.

I would not describe it as a "handful of examples" overall. Two or three handfuls, perhaps.
