As others will soon confirm (that is why they asked), the green ink set-off on the reverse side is proof that your stamp is flat-plate printed, thus cannot be a 596, which is a rotary press printing.
thank you for your insight. it appear that the ovals dont line up. it most certainly is NOT a 596 but could there be a double impression on this stamp?
No, that misalignment merely means that the freshly printed sheet containing this stamp was placed on another freshly printed sheet with a slight offset to the side. The sheets were not perfectly stacked. This is common, because human operators were removing sheets from the press and stacking them manually.
