I'm not quite sure who to approach about this. I've attempted to opt-in to the General Discussion forum with no success. I should be qualified to join at this point. Can anyone provide a solution?
I would like to point out its impossible to get to if you click on 'General Discussion' on the navigation menu on the left. You just get the error message you need to be approved. Just one of the bugs on the site. (It tripped me up for awhile as I had thought I lost access to it)
