638 Garfield Color Variation

Hello everyone, I was wondering if this is a normal color variation for the 11 x 10 1/2 perf Garfield. I have tons of these and all are orange.. some with a hint of brown. Found this one yesterday that has alot of brown in it. Hope the 2 images upload to the post with this.. took me forever. If they don't I will try again tomorrow.. thanks.

Yes, agree. Unfortunately, this happens to a lot of color changelings ... a phrase that you can search for in this forum and find lots of information. The value is actually reduced, due to this effect. Anyway, thanks for posting and be sure to show us more of your collection.

Interesting. Thanks everyone, I will check out the stamp smarter link. Definitely a keeper for a good oxidation example. I will upload more images and have more posts during the weekend. Im working 80 hr weeks.I usually stamp all day Saturday and Sunday. My wife doesn't think that's cool though.
