Cancel Help On Schermack Stamps

I have collected Vending and Affixing machines and would estimate I have examined over 10 thousand in the last 15 years. Most are commonly cancelled with either wavy or straight line cancels. As I ran across those with partial cancels, I set them aside with the thought of going through them later. Well, later has finally arrived. I have been identifying and cataloging them.

Typically on a single stamp only a portion of the cancel remains. That what makes it so challenging. I have several that have stumped me. Perhaps another pair of eyes can spot something that I am missing.





These two both appear to end with LE. Probably ending ville but nothing comes to mind to narrow that down.





These two also appear to be similar. From what I can make out they end LEHEN. Any idea ?

This appears to be another cancel over top of a slogan cancel. Perhaps a receiving cancel. I see a CKCHC perhaps

...and as the second one looks in general similar, it's probably also from "...VILLE".

A note on use. Since receiving cancels would typically be on the reverse AND had been largely discontinued by the era of the vending coils, I would suggest these double-canceled stamps have the secondary hand cancels applied to the front of the envelopes as forwarding cancels.

For the "ville" cancels, there is really no chance to pin them down. Here are cancels arranged with 3 to 8 letters preceding the "ville", note the additional variable of the differing size and spacing of the letters. Of course #2 could also end in -castle, -dale, -mile, etc.

I realize that a receiving cancel on the front complicates the process of identification. I lean to Tuckahoe as well. Topeka was an interesting angle as the slogan cancel on that stamp was from International Livestock Exposition in Chicago. Saw a connection.

I was trying to work the Ville angle as perhaps being from an address of a known stamp dealer. They don't appear to be receiving cancels.
