I have the Subway Vintage Scott Brown pages which I will be using for the majority of my worldwide collection but I will be printing Steiner (or Steiner derived) pages for the countries where I want better coverage. I am trying to find suitable paper for printing my pages. Ideally I want something similar the Subway pages.

So far I have tried 67 lb cover stock as suggested by others here on the forum but it is too stiff and just doesn't "feel" right. Tomorrow I will try and contact Subway to see if they can tell me what weight and style of paper they use but I thought I would first check with the knowledgeable folks here on the forum.

So, does anyone know off hand what kind of paper Subway uses for their Vintage Scott Brown pages? I think it is pretty similar to the paper used for the Scott National and Specialty albums.

Be aware that Scott National/Specialty pages have changed basis weight over the years, among other qualities. You may have to go with the best match as a lot of papers have gone out of production over time plus the selection today is not as good as it was even a decade or two ago.

Hi

Take an album page to your local "mom and pop" print shop. They are very knowledgeable, have resources, and will probably help in securing paper for you. In addition, they will do any hole punching you need, either on site or off.

The big office supply store "print shops" will probably not be as helpful.

Thanks hy-brasil and jbcev80. I will have to try and find a "mom and pop" print shop in my area. All I really know about are places like Office Depot and Kinkos. But the suggestion is a good one. I will take one of the pages that I like to a print shop and see what they can do.

I bought the 67 lb cover stock because it seemed similar in weight, etc. to the pages in my Lighthouse albums and in the Scott Platinum album but in the smaller format (8-1/2 by 11) it doesn't seem to work as well. I think I will need to try something around 125 gsm rather than 175 gsm.
