The date is awkward. "30 7 81"(July 30th 1981)

Different parts of the world use different date formats. This isn't anything unusual. in Japan we follow Year Month Day... 2019 01 27 for today's date for instance... US uses Month Day Year, it varies in different countries.

Nothing to do with date formats. What is unusual is that the 81 in the cancel is upside down.
