What are folks thoughts on this. The perfs look bad to me? The seller too but is this a find?

Poorly printed but NOT a double print by any stretch of the imagination. NYStamps = Yuck

A real double impression.

See lot 990.

I originally thought I had a double impression of a stamp in this earlier thread

https://goscf.com/t/50415

The guide dots are so strong, that I was leaning against a kiss print, but the explanation from others was plausible.

The stamp was printed on an offset press. If the fountain supplying water to wipe down the blanket between impressions is empty, ink left over from the previous impression will remain resulting in a lighter misaligned ghost image. I posted an offset press schematic previously on this forum. Perhaps it should be included somewhere on the 1847usa/StampSmarter web site.

I don't see any reason to question the perforations.
